Navigating mental health challenges can often feel isolating, but you do not have to carry it alone. At Synapse Solutions, our therapy and education groups provide a safe, affirming, and structured environment where individuals can share experiences, develop practical coping skills, and find genuine community.
Led by licensed mental healthclinicains, group therapy offers a space where you are heard, understood, and supported by others walking a similar path.
Why Choose Group Therapy
While individual therapy focuses one-on-one on your personal story, group therapy offers powerful unique benefits.
Realizing you are not alone: Hearing others talk openly about their struggles reduces isolation, shame, and self-doubt.
Shared Perspectives & Coping Tools: Learn evidence-based skills alongside peers who can offer real-world feedback and encouragement.
A Safe Space to Practice Connection: Groups offer a structured, confidential setting to practice boundary setting, interpersonal communication, and self-expression.
Affordable, High-Impact Support: Group sessions often provide an accessible, cost-effective way to receive continuous professional guidance alongside or following individual therapy.
What To Expect in a Group Session
Confidential & Respectful: Every participant agrees to strict confidentiality guidelines to ensure a space where everyone feels secure sharing.
Small, Intentional Cohorts: Groups are kept small (typically 8-12 members) so that everyone has room to participate comfortably.
Flexible Participation: You will never be forced to share before you are ready. Listening and absorbing the conversation is an equally valid way to participate.
Format & Location: Groups usually meet weekly for 60-90 minures. Depending on the group, meetings are held in person at our Janesville office (4517 Woodgate Drive) or virtually via our secure telehealth platform.
