Georgien Dudzek, Psy.D

Dr. Georgien Dudzek is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized education and training in neuropsychological assessment and evaluation. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at UW-Madison and a Master of Science in Social Work at UW- Madison. She completed her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Schaumburg, IL with a concentration in neuropsychology in 2015. 

Dr. Dudzek provides assessment and evaluation of psychological conditions and neuropsychological abilities for the purpose of diagnostic clarification.  Evaluation assists with treatment planning, and school or work recommendations and accommodations. 

She has experience in assessment and diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, neurocognitive impairment, dementia, brain injury, autism, depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. 

Megan Hart-Fritchley, M.A. (ABT)

Megan joined Dr. Dudzek’s team in 2020, as a Psychometrist.

Previously, she was a home educator and research assistant. Megan has over ten years of data entry, analysis and research experience.  She enjoys using her skills to assist with comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations with the purpose of serving others and making the most of her opportunities.

Megan holds a BA in Sociology and Master’s Certificates in LGBT and Women’s Studies from Northern Illinois University

When not keeping busy with work duties you can find Megan spending time with her family and furbabies or going on a new gastronome adventure.

Jeremy Edge, MSW, APSW

Jeremy Edge received his Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Social Worker. 

He has worked in the field of psychology since 2016 and made therapy his primary focus in 2018. Jeremy has extensive experience helping individuals with Autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and anxiety disorders.  He provides individual and group counseling to both children and adults. 

Loukia Alafogianis, L.C.S.W.

Loukia received her Masters in Social Work from Aurora University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has worked as a social worker in various organizations since 2010. She has experience with depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and other mental health conditions and she is currently accepting new clients. 

In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with her fur baby, Paisley. 

Heather Braumann, MSW, APSW

Heather received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University, is licensed as an Advanced Practice Social Worker, and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Public Administration. 

Her professional interests include treating children with developmental, emotional, or behavioral issues, adolescents and adults navigating life transitions, family of origin dysfunction, self-esteem and self-compassion, trauma, and emotion regulation. She is currently accepting new clients. 

In her spare time, Heather enjoys going on adventures or simply relaxing with her husband and her five children. 

Heidi Rivera, MSW, ASPW

Heidi Rivera's areas of study were completed at UW Whitewater and Aurora University in 2017. Her experience includes six years working for the state of Wisconsin in the area of substance abuse treatment and another six years in various private and non-profit agencies in southern Wisconsin.   Her experiences have shown the effectiveness of using cognitive behavioral interventions and dialectical behavioral therapies which have helped individuals make real changes in their lives.  She is certified in Brainspotting therapy which has helped individuals cope with chronic pain, trauma, and processing grief. 

Heidi is excited to become part of the Synapse Solutions team and initiate services in Spanish.  Her passion is to help the Spanish community by offering our services.    It is important to her practice to develop a therapeutic relationship through active listening, building trust, and non-judgmental collaboration. She feels her role takes a variety of forms such as a support, advocate, and bridge to services to build a stronger community.  She is currently accepting new clients.

Las áreas de estudio de Heidi Rivera fueron completadas en la Universidad de Wisconsin en Whitewater y la Universidad de Aurora en 2017. Su experiencia incluye seis años trabajando para el estado de Wisconsin en el área de tratamiento de abuso de sustancias y otros seis años en varias agencias privadas y sin fines de lucro en el sur de Wisconsin. Sus experiencias han demostrado la eficacia del uso de intervenciones cognitivo-conductuales y terapias conductuales dialécticas, que han ayudado a las personas a realizar cambios reales en sus vidas. Está certificada en la terapia de Brainspotting, la cual ha ayudado a individuos a lidiar con dolor crónico, trauma y procesar el duelo.

Heidi está emocionada por ser parte del equipo de Synapse Solutions e iniciar servicios en español. Su pasión es ayudar a la comunidad hispana ofreciendo nuestros servicios. Es importante para su práctica desarrollar una relación terapéutica a través de la escucha activa, la construcción de confianza y la colaboración sin prejuicios. Ella siente que su rol adopta diversas formas, como apoyo, defensora y puente hacia los servicios para construir una comunidad más fuerte. Actualmente está aceptando nuevos clientes.
